Tibor has been with Rae and Company for over 20 years and has represented his clients’ interests in both the boardroom and the courtroom. His practice is primarily focused on Natural Resource law, Aboriginal and Treaty Rights and Title, Freehold Minerals Rights, Trust law and Corporate and Commercial law and represents First Nations in Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
Tibor has developed extensive experience in the negotiation, development and drafting of a wide variety of natural resource agreements, impact benefits agreements and complex trust agreements and has advised First Nations and First Nation owned entities on a wide range of economic development initiatives and projects including the creation of First Nation owned oil and gas companies and First Nation gaming. He has appeared before all levels of the courts including the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada as well as energy regulators and other boards and tribunals. Tibor’s practice is primarily focused on Natural Resource law, Aboriginal and Treaty Rights and Title, Freehold Minerals Rights and Trusts.
